Atlantis Team Provides Winning Mix at Reno Tuaca Challenge!Reno, NV - 2/5/2009 Sean Donleavy, bartender at the new Atlantis Sports Bar & Lounge, took 1st Place at the Reno Tuaca Challenge! Sean's drink mixed Tuaca, the ingredient du jour, with lemongrass sake. Bistro Napa bartender, Nick Paulson's Tuaca concoction of vanilla, roasted pineapple, tequila and Agave nectar gave him a 2nd Place finish in the competition.
The Reno Tuaca Challenge was sponsored by Silver State Liquor and, of course, Tuaca. Contestants entered written recipes in Decemeber, narrowing the field of nearly 200 competitors down to the top 12. Atlantis' Trin Singratanakul, also of the Sports Bar and Lounge, was a finalist as well. The cocktails were judged on presentation, creativity and taste.
