Well you can get both, and help your neighbors in need, at Taste for Jazz in the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa Grand Ballroom at 5:30pm on Thursday, April 30th, 2009! Enjoy samples from more than 40 wineries and restaurants and revel in the sounds of Lady Jay Davis and a live Jazz Band. All proceeds will benefit CARE Chest of Sierra Nevada! CARE Chest has been around since 1990, and it's focus is to provide uninsured Nevadans with supplies and medicines they badly need, but would otherwise not have access to! CARE Chest has helped more than 60,000 people in need of treatment since its inception, and over 8,500 last year alone! This is one of the only programs exclusively benefiting Northern Nevadans with the critical medical necessities so crucial to their survival! So come out to Atlantis on Thursday, April 30th, 2009 for Wine, Food and Music. Tickets are $60 per person, though some table packages are available. Frank Family Vineyards is also holding a Winemaker Dinner on April 29th at Atlantis, to benefit CARE Chest!
