Political Memorabilia Hits Jackpot at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno!

With the 2008 presidential in the bag, the spectrum for collecting political buttons, posters, and other memorabilia from past elections has spiked exponentially.

On August 14-15, hundreds of collectors, dealers, political junkies, and history enthusiasts will descend on Reno for the largest political memorabilia show and sale in the nation. Thousands of campaign buttons, colorful badges, posters, and other ephemera will be available for purchase.

Professionals will provide FREE appraisals of items brought in by the public in the style of "The Antiques Roadshow." Sponsored by the American Political Items Collectors (APIC), the three-day show is also an opportunity to buy new and vintage political Americana, view displays of classic campaign items, and get free appraisals of political memorabilia. Additional features include two live auctions and seminars on collecting.

Organized in 1945, the APIC is a non-profit hobbyist organization dedicated to the study and preservation of materials relating to America's political history, whose membership includes more than 3,500 collectors across the country.
