Atlantis Casino Resort Spa to Sponsor NCET Programs

NCET, Nevada's Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, announced the selection of the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa of Reno as NCET's preferred venue for its signature 2009 - 2010 events, and also announced the Atlantis' sponsorship of each of these events:

The annual NCET Entrepreneur and Small Business Expo will be held March 12, 2010. More than 100 exhibitors and dozens of speakers will be on hand to provide the resources, contacts and expertise that small businesses and aspiring small business owners need to start and grow a business. NCET expects attendance of well over 1,000 entrepreneurs and small business owners.

The Donald W. Reynolds Governor's Cup, now in its sixth year, encourages Nevada's university and college students to consider entrepreneurship as a career option and gives students real-world business planning experience. Students create business plans and compete for over $110,000 in cash prizes.

The annual NCET Silver & Gold Venture Capital Conference is one of the largest western U.S. gatherings of venture capitalists, entrepreneurs and policymakers. The conference will be held on October 13 and 14, 2009. NCET expects to host more than 300 investors, early stage companies and other professionals.

The NCET Awards are an annual event celebrating individuals and companies who have greatly enhanced the growth and prestige of Greater Reno-Tahoe's technology community. Categories of these awards include: Technology Entrepreneur of the Year, CIO / CTO of Year, Technology Educator of the Year, Technology Company of Year, Technology Start-up and Green Company of the Year.
