Atlantis shifts into high gear with $65,000 Hot August Nights Celebration

Cash, free play and more up for grabs during six days of festivities

Reno, NV – The excitement and pageantry of Hot August Nights is returning to Atlantis Casino Resort Spa Monday, July 31 through Saturday, August 5 with a revved-up $65,000 celebration jam packed with classic car events, live entertainment and fun promotions.

Registered Hot August Nights car participants will have the opportunity to compete in the legendary Cruise of Champions™ for a chance to win a share of $15,000. Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded nightly for Best of Show, Judge’s Choice, Best Restored Original, Best Special Interest, Best Street Rod and Best Street Cruiser. Festivities at the Atlantis will wrap up Saturday night with a $50,000 cash and free play drawing inside the casino on the Cabaret Stage. Guests will have additional opportunities to win special prizes such as hotel stays and resort credit at the 360 Cyclone Camera Booth in the west parking lot.

This year’s live entertainment includes Carnaval (Santana tribute), Eric Andersen, The Greg Golden Band, Journey Revisited (Journey tribute) and Escalade. All five bands will perform on the outdoor stage in the west parking lot.

The Hot August Nights Celebration at the Atlantis will also feature daily Acres of Champions Show-n-Shines, a $2,500 Shake, Rattle & Roll Keno Tournament, eating contests and a Cruisin’ Craft Fair.

Additionally, the Atlantis will be offering commemorative Hot August Nights Monarch Rewards cards while supplies last plus 5X comp points on slot play every night.
