What:            Veterans Guest House Radiothon

When:           Friday, March 6^th from Noon – 6pm

Where:          Atlantis Rotunda (Ground Floor)

This event benefits the Veterans Guest House, which provides temporary housing for veterans and their families receiving medical treatment in the Reno area. The Veterans Guest House is not funded by the government so all of their money comes from private donations.  They hope to raise $50,000 during this event. 

During the event, people can stop by the Atlantis rotunda and place a donation in the military boots while they visit with a veteran, call the pledge number at 775-335-4621 to donate, or donate at any time online at www.veteransguesthouse.org.  During the event, people will also be able to bid on more than a dozen auction packages, including a Tahoe weekend getaway, ski resort season passes, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Journey concert tickets, and more.  This is the 17^th year this annual fundraising event has been held.
