Atlantis Puts Spotlight On #WearBlueDay

January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month

Reno, NV – The Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is going blue in honor of National Human Trafficking Awareness Day.

Monday, January 11th the fountains outside the Atlantis will be lit blue for #WearBlueDay, the largest initiative of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Blue Campaign. The Atlantis will also be encouraging the public to wear blue with a message on its video marquee. 

Just two weeks ago, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Nevada had more human trafficking cases in 2020 than in any previous year. 

Through the Blue Campaign, DHS hopes to educate the public about human trafficking and how to appropriately respond to suspected cases.
